Delhi Capitals are shattered after the departure of their in-form captain Rishabh Pant. The team will enter in their 16th season with the hope to win their first IPL title. Formerly known as Delhi Daredevils, the team has qualified for 6 playoffs and has played one IPL final. Rishabh Pant is out of the Indian Premier League, he is yet to recover from his injury. Meanwhile, there’s another blow for the team as South African pacer Anrich Nortje has not confirmed his availability for this season of IPL.
If we talk about replacement then there is no such announcement for these two players, however, David Warner has been confirmed as the new captain of this franchise.

The main strength of the Delhi Capitals squad relies on their top order, they have a decent batting order that have David Warner, Prithivi Shaw, Mitchell Marsh, Rilee Rossouw, and Manish Pandey. These batters are known for their match winning skills and can provide DC a good start in the innings.
Warner and Pandey can play sensible cricket while Shaw, Rilee, and Marsh can emphasise on their attacking cricket.
- PACE ATTACK
Pace attack of DC is their second major strength, they have Chetan Sakariya, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ishant Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Khalil Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, and Lungi Ngidi in the team. These bowlers form a decent pace attack which is tough to counter for any batting side.
