MS Dhoni Leaves Captaincy for Chennai Super Kings

Legendary captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has given up his captaincy for his team Chennai Super Kings after leading the team since its inception. Winning 4 trophies with the team and being the reigning captain.

According to an official announcement, the versatile Ravindra Jadeja will take over the post of captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) master franchise from Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the 2022 IPL.

Jadeja, who has been an organic member of the Chennai Super Kings since 2012, will only be the third player to lead CSK. Dhoni, who has been CSK captain since the start of the league in 2008, could play in the final IPL this season. He has already taken retirement from international cricket.
