Royal Challengers Bangalore was one of the eight founding teams of the IPL and has been a consistent participant in the league since its inception in 2008. The team has been led by some of the biggest names in cricket including Virat Kohli, Daniel Vettori, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Kevin Pietersen, and Chris Gayle.
