The Indian Premier League (IPL) Orange Cap is an award presented to the leading run-scorer in the tournament. The player who scores the most runs throughout the IPL season wears the Orange Cap while fielding, and at the end of the tournament, the player with the most runs is awarded the Orange Cap.

- Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli has won the Orange Cap in the Indian Premier League (IPL) once. He won the Orange Cap in the IPL 2016 season, where he scored a record-breaking 973 runs in 16 matches at an average of 81.08 and a strike rate of 152.03. He also scored four centuries and seven half-centuries in that season.
Kohli has been a consistent performer in the IPL but has not been able to win the Orange Cap again. Nonetheless, he remains one of the best batsmen in the world and a key player for RCB. In the IPL 2015 season, David Warner scored 562 runs in 14 matches at an average of 43.23 and a strike rate of 156.54. He scored one century and four half-centuries in the tournament and was the leading run-scorer of the season. His highest score in the season was 91* against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Ruturaj Gaikwad is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Chennai Super Kings.
Gaikwad made his IPL debut in 2020 and had a slow start to the tournament, scoring just 5 runs in his first three innings. However, he soon found form and scored three consecutive half-centuries toward the end of the tournament, finishing with a total of 204 runs in six innings.
He was awarded the Orange Cap in IPL 2021 for scoring 635 runs in 16 matches.
