Finally the biggest event in international cricket the t20 World Cup has ended, and we witnessed some exhilarating nail-biting matches between the super 12. The world cup might not be that good from an Indian fan’s perspective but cricket is cricket at last we can have only one winner.
Yesterday we observed an amazing match between the two world-class teams the Australian side and the New Zealand, both the teams played to their edge and performed exceptionally but eventually, it’s a game only one side can win and the Australian side emerged as champions last night.
We all know the Aussies are bullies in the ICC tournaments, it doesn’t matter how they performed in the past few years, they will come and they will conquer the ICC tournaments.
There are a few positives in the Australian side that helped them throughout the tournament and paved them towards winning the title. We have mentioned some of them below:
- Amazing Death Bowling – This is an aspect in which the Australian side is far better than any other team they have an excellent death bowling attack with Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins leading the front. These bowlers don’t leak runs in the end, this is a plus point for them, and they can restrict the match finishers from making a big score.
- All-rounder – OH BOY! We saw last night what the Australian all-rounders can do in the end, all-rounder like Maxwell, Stoinis, and Mitchell Marsh are assets for the team. The mentioned players are stunning with both bowling and batting each one of them can turn the match single-handedly.
- Finishers – This is a much-needed thing in T20i Cricket if a team has good finishers they can chase any big total in the end and also can help the team in setting up a big total while batting first. The Australian side was blessed with some of the best finishers in the world who finished the job adequately for the team whenever needed.
- Amazing form of David Warner – There is no doubt that David Warner played a very important role in the team’s victory, he was awarded as man of the tournament last night. Whenever the team needed whether it’s the semifinals, group stages, or the finals he performed well and single-handedly helped his team to be victorious.
The Australians are good at any sport they play. A paradigm of the ideal “sporting country”, be it cricket, football, rugby, or the Olympics the Aussies always perform. It’s a perfect redemption for the team after going from the Sandpaper Scandal there were many questions raised on the Australian Cricket Legacy but thanks to Justin Langer he stood for the team as well as for the players, he gave confidence and make the public believe that this is the world champion Australian side they are going to win irrespective of the situation.
